Assessment and Rating

InterConformity provides alternative external assessments by auditing and evaluating compliance to specific management system standards, codes, norms or criteria and independently determining an organization’s performance. These types of services are delivered according to specific schemes, e.g. Supplier Site Inspections, Second-Party Audits and Management System Rating.

Supplier Site Inspection is an unannounced examination and formal evaluation of a company’s location – premises, infrastructure, human resources, production processes, business and management practices, quality assurance, performance facts and indicators, etc. Surprise inspections enhance external confidence in the supplier assessment process. The client compares the results to specified requirements and standards for determining whether a supplier and its activities are in line with expectations.

Second-Party Audits involve hiring InterConformity as an independent contractor by a company to perform audits and assessments of its suppliers or service providers according to determined requirements. As a result, the strength of the organizations supply chain is enhanced and possible problems (e.g. legal or contractual compliance aspects, product failures or other risks) are prevented.

The Management System Rating is the assessment and evaluation of a company’s business and management practices in terms of quality and quantity.  Assessors use their judgment and experience in determining what information should be considered in giving a rating to a particular company. The resulted rating may be used by interested parties (internal or external) to determine to what extent the company fulfills the requirements of the reference criteria. This kind of information is very useful in proving excellence in a given field, determining depth and maturity of a management system, analyzing gaps, focusing on continual improvement and benchmarking performance.
