Use of certification marks

  1. InterConformity GmbH, doing business as INTERCONFORMITY Assessment & Certification Company (www.interconformity.net) and Anti-Bribery Synergy (www.anti-bribery.org), has full rights on its mark(s), logo(s), certificates and related documents. A customer may use the certification mark (logo) and statements only provided the certification is valid and by conforming to following requirements:
  • There shall be no ambiguity or misleading information as to what has been certified and which certification body has granted the certification.
  • The Customer shall not use the mark (logo) on a product or product packaging, use statements on product packaging or in accompanying information, or in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity and shall not apply the mark (logo) on laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports, as such reports are deemed to be products in this context.
  • Statements on product packaging or in accompanying information that The Customer has a certified management system shall include identification (e.g. brand or name) of The Cusotmer; the type of management system (e.g. quality, environment, occupational health and safety, food safety, anti-bribery etc.) and the applicable standard; InterConformity  GmbH issuing the certificate. Product packaging is considered as that which can be removed without the product disintegrating or being damaged.  Accompanying information is considered as separately available or easily detachable.  Type labels or identification plates are considered as part of the product. The statement shall in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified by this means.
  • The Customer shall conform to the requirements of InterConformity GmbH when making reference to its certification status in communication media such as the internet, brochures or advertising, or other documents.
  • The Customer shall not make or permit any misleading statement regarding its certification or the use of a certification document or any part thereof in a misleading manner.
  • Upon suspension, withdrawal or expiration of its certification, the Customer shall discontinue using all advertising matter that contains a reference to certification, the certification documents and certification marks (logos), as directed by InterConformity GmbH. Upon reducing of certification scope, the Customer shall amend all advertising matter.
  • The Customer shall not refer to its management system certification to be used in such a way as to imply that InterConformity GmbH endorses or certifies a product, service or process.
  • The Customer shall not imply that the certification applies to activities that are outside the scope of certification.
  • The Customer shall not use its certification in such a manner that would bring InterConformity GmbH and/or another certification system into disrepute and lose public trust.
  1. INTERCONFORMITY GmbH has the right to take action to deal with incorrect references to certification status or misleading use of certification documents, marks or audits reports by requests for correction and corrective action, suspension, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression, claims of compensation or legal action.

  • Products and product labels – Not Allowed
  • Primary Packages – Not Allowed
  • Secondary Packages – Allowed
  • Office stationary – Allowed
  • Advertising materials – Allowed
  • Vehicles – Allowed
  • Offices – Allowed
  • Analysis/test/inspection reports – Not allowed
  • Statements of conformity – Not allowed
